Sarah Spreen

With the new arrival of my mac, I decided it was time to go on a shooting spree this weekend to see what my new Nikon and my Mac (affectionately dubbed B-TWO, Better Than Windows Obviously) could do together. Sarah called me on Thursday, the day my new computer arrived at my house, and I managed to convince her to come over for a shoot on Friday. With no idea what we were going to do, she packed a duffle of various costume pieces and came to shoot Friday afternoon.

I wanted to use my sari's for something, and I decided that Sarah and I would be able to make good use of the sari's and her adorableness with a slightly Alice In Wonderland look. I set up my elaborate and expensive studio (My living room) and when she arrived we got down to doing hair and make up. Hair was simple and fun, messy with some twirls in it, and the make up went a different direction than I expected. I am not a professional with make up, so sometimes you just let stuff happen. It worked well, and I really enjoyed the final look.

Sarah was a breeze to work with, a naturally photogenic face and beautiful eyes!
